Selmon's Restaurant Opening to Benefit USF Program

November 27, 2012

TAMPA - Fans will get a chance to take a sneak peek at a new Lee Roy Selmon's Restaurant and help out USF's specialized mentorship in the process.

Tickets are now sold out for an exclusive pre-opening night at the new Carrollwood location on Tuesday, Dec. 4 that includes an all-inclusive tasting of Lee Roy Selmon's entire menu. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the cost is $63 for two tickets ($31.50 per ticket). All proceeds benefit the Mentoring U program that's grounded in the spirit of who Selmon was as a person.

Selmon worked for USF Athletics from 1993 until his passing in 2011 and served as a tireless mentor for Bulls athletes and administration. The Mentoring U program continues his goal of preparing USF athletes for life after sports and provides them with support from professional experts while they get exposed to professional environments.
