TAMPA – Points and rebounds were hard to come by for USF in its third straight loss.

Victor Rudd was the lone Bull in double figures with 10 points as USF shot 26 percent from the field in a 64-38 loss at No. 3 Louisville on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals (15-1, 3-0) outrebounded the Bulls, 49-24, and held a 36-14 advantage in points in the paint.

Rudd added eight rebounds and JaVontae Hawkins scored nine points but USF (9-6, 0-3) couldn't pull off a second straight upset at Louisville. The Bulls defeated the Cardinals, 58-51, last season.

Gorgui Dieng posted 12 points and 16 rebounds for a Louisville team that has won 10 in a row since a 76-71 loss to Duke on Nov. 24. Chane Behanan added 12 rebounds and Peyton Siva posted a game-high 17 points.

The Bulls looks to break into the Big East win column 9 p.m. Thursday at Rutgers. USF returns to the Sun Dome Saturday, Jan. 19 to host Georgetown at 6 p.m.
