TAMPA - First-year USF head coach Matt Hill and assistant Brandon Wagner continue to bring in talent from around the globe.

Freshmen Roberto Cid and Finn Meinecke have signed with the Bulls and are currently enrolled at USF while their eligibility kicks in next season.

Cid is from the Dominican Republic and was ranked as highly as No. 986 on the ATP Tour and was a top-100 player at the junior level. Cid defeated numerous players that were ranked in the top 1,000 in the world and Hill said he will make an immediate impact for USF next season.

"Roberto is an incredible addition to what we are working tirelessly to build here at USF," Hill said. "He brings a wealth of experience to our young team. More importantly, he has the discipline and the work ethic that I want on and off the court."

Hill also said Meinecke will be an instant contributor for USF next season after being ranked as highly at No. 1,355 on the ATP Tour. The Hamburg, Germany native was ranked in the top 100 in his country and posted wins against players that were ranked in the top 1,000 in the world last year.

"He has the fight, energy and work ethic it takes to be a great player, and he is really going to thrive in the team environment," Hill said. "He is the exact fit we are looking for and I couldn't be happier with the addition of Finn to our growing team."
