Bulls' Win Streak Ends at VCU

TAMPA - Loreto Alonso-Martinez and Kayla Rizzolo posted singles victories but the Bulls' four-match winning streak came to an end Sunday at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Alonso-Martinez cruised past Josefin Hjertquist, 6-3, 6-2, and Rizzolo finished strong in both sets of a 7-6, 7-6 victory over Yukako Noi in Richmond, Va.

The Bulls started their two-match road trip with a 6-1 victory at UNC-Wilmington on Friday afternoon.

USF finishes its regular season with a 10-match home stand that begins 2 p.m. Wednesday against NC State. The Bulls host Wake Forest on Sunday, March 10 at 11 a.m. Admission is free at the USF Varsity Courts.
