Bulls Can't Stop NC State's Perfect Run

TAMPA - The No. 70 Bulls were unable to hand No. 33 NC State the first loss of its spring season Wednesday afternoon.

The Wolfpack (8-0) matched their best start in program history with a 5-2 victory over the Bulls at the USF Varsity Courts.

Fanny Fracassi earned the first point for USF when she defeated Nicole Martinez, 6-4, 6-2. Danielle Mills also was a winner in singles competition after outlasting Rachael James-Baker, 4-6, 7-6 (10-7).

The Bulls look to snap a two-match losing streak 11 a.m. Sunday when Wake Forest pays a visit to the USF Varsity Courts. Admission is free.
