Bulls Finish Home Slate With 5-2 Loss

TAMPA – Federico Sabogal and Ravi Patel posted singles wins in the Bulls’ 5-2 loss to No. 63 UNC-Wilmington on Friday afternoon.

Patel got the Bulls on the scoreboard with a 7-6, 6-0 win over Zach Hublitz on Senior Day at the USF Varsity Courts. Sabogal dropped his first set before rallying past Kaue Pereira, 6-7, 6-2, 6-2, in the Bulls’ home finale.

A large crowd applauded Juan Carlos Acuna Gerard and Joao Souza during a special ceremony honoring the seniors before the match.

USF wraps up its regular season with a four-match road trip that begins Saturday, April 6 at Notre Dame.
