TAMPA – The Bulls have hit the road for a busy weekend at Notre Dame.

The USF men’s tennis team battles the No. 31 Irish 1 p.m. Saturday before facing No. 65 SMU on Sunday in Indiana. A decision on whether matches will take place outside or inside has yet to be determined.

The Bulls (7-8) went 1-1 last week to wrap up their home slate at the USF Varsity Courts. The No. 59 doubles team consisting of Oliver Pramming and Ignacio Gonzalez-Muniz set the tone with a win in last Wednesday’s 5-2 victory over Brown.

Federico Sabogal and Ravi Patel each posted singles wins in USF’s 5-2 loss to No. 63 UNC-Wilmington last Friday on senior day. Juan Carlos Acuna Gerard and Joao Souza were honored during a special ceremony before the match took place.

USF’s four-match road trip to end the regular season continues Saturday, April 13 against MTSU in Orlando at noon. The Bulls face UCF on Sunday, April 14 in Orlando at 11 a.m. The Big East Championships are scheduled for April 18-21 at Notre Dame.
