USF Improves to 6-0 in Big East Play

TAMPA – The Bulls improved to 6-0 against Big East opponents this season by handing DePaul a 5-2 loss Sunday afternoon at the USF Varsity Courts.

Danielle Mills and Kayla Rizzolo kept No. 57 USF on the winning track early with an 8-4 doubles win before Paula Montoya and Fanny Fracassi clinched the doubles point with an 8-5 victory.

Mills, Katie Vasenina and Alessandra Bonte each won their singles matches in straight sets while Fracassi capped things off with a 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory over Kelsey Lawson.

USF is currently 7-2 on its 10-match home stand to finish the regular season. The Bulls wrap up the regular season with a test against Big East rival Notre Dame on Sunday, April 14 at 11 a.m. Admission is free at the USF Varsity Courts.
