TAMPA - University of South Florida coach Stan Heath has announced the details for his 2013 summer basketball camps.
Each camp includes in-depth instruction from collegiate coaches and players, games and contests, as well as a camp T-shirt.
The two-day team camp will take place June 15-16 and costs $495 per team. There will be three levels of play - high varsity, mid varsity and JV - with each team guaranteed five games in a pool play tournament format. All games will be officiated by high school and college referees.
There will be two Day Camps for ages 8-18. The first will be on June 17-20 and costs $225 per player and the second will be Aug. 5-7 ($200/player).
The Elite Camp will take place Aug. 3 and costs $40 per person.
Each camper will be exposed to numerous and important fundamentals. Areas of emphasis include sportsmanship, team play, shooting, passing, ball handling, rebounding, individual offense and defense. The camp staff will provide an enthusiastic and positive atmosphere for each attendee to learn the game of basketball and improve their existing skills. Fundamental instruction, daily contests, guest speakers and 3 on 3 and 5 of 5 game competition will highlight each day.
