Bulls Can't Get Past Irish at Home

TAMPA – The No. 56 Bulls finished off their regular season with a 5-2 loss to No. 25 Notre Dame on Sunday at the USF Varsity Courts.

Loreto Alonso-Martinez and Paula Montoya won their singles matches before USF saw its two-match winning streak come to an end.

Alonso-Martinez rallied past Jennifer Kellner, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, while Montoya handed Katherine White a 6-3, 6-4 loss in the No. 5 singles spot.

USF went 7-3 on its 10-match home stand to finish the regular season and gets to stay at home for the Big East Championships that take place April 18-21.
