TAMPA – USF’s Katie Vasenina landed a spot on the All-Big East Team after putting together an impressive senior season on the courts.
Vasenina went 15-9 in singles play this spring and had an eight-match winning streak going at one point before finishing the season ranked No. 110 in the nation. USF’s top singles player went 9-6 in the fall after beginning the season ranked No. 29 in the country by the ITA.
Vasenina teamed up with Loreto Alonso-Martinez to go 14-7 in doubles play this spring after they were ranked No. 24 in the nation to begin the fall season.
Vasenina helped the Bulls make three consecutive trips to the Big East championship match and represented USF at the NCAA tournament as an individual last spring.
