Bulls Finish Weekend Strong In Athens

TAMPA –The USF women’s tennis team finished the weekend strong, winning six of seven singles matches Sunday to wrap up the Bulldog Classic in Athens, Ga.

Freshman Olya Garrido-Rivas notched her second career win defeating Esnal Olguin of Old Dominion. Fanny Fracassi, a senior, got her second win of the weekend  with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Old Dominion’s Marijana Novakovic in Flight 3.

Olga Martinez , a freshman, took care of business in Flight 5, defeating Old Dominion’s  OIvana Vukovic 6-3. 7-5.  Alessandra Bonte handed Old Dominion’s Ingrid Vojcinakova a  6-1, 6-0 loss in Flight 2.

Kayla Rizzolo, a senior, represented the Bulls in Flight 1 defeating Old Dominion’s Nokol Hristova 6-1, 6-0.  

Next up, the Bulls head to Orlando for the UCF Invitational Sept. 27-29.
