Four Bulls Win on Day 2 of ITA All-American Event

Pramming, a junior, defeated SMU’s Julio Olaya, 6-3, 6-3, in the second round of pre-qualifying Sunday before watching his teammates tough out three-set victories.
Sabogal, a senior, dropped the first set before rallying past Zach Wilder of Ole Miss, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, in the second round of pre-qualifying.
Kalyuzhnyy, a freshman from the Ukraine, toughed out a 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 win over Morgan State’s Evan Ward in a pre-qualifying bonus match.
Gonzalez-Muniz, a sophomore, rebounded from a loss in the second set to beat Miami's Will Albanese, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
USF’s run at the nine-day event continues Monday with freshman Sasha Gozun’s pre-qualifying singles match at 3 p.m. The Bulls’ top doubles team of Pramming and Gonzalez-Muniz gets going in the qualifying draw on Tuesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
