TAMPA-- Freshman Olaya Garrido-Rivas went point for point with one of the state's top singles players in the state, falling to Florida's Belinda Wollcock in three sets. Garrido-Rivas dropped the first set 1-6, but would even things up with a 6-2 win to force a desive third set that she would lose 6-7 with a 10-4 tiebreak.
Garrido-Rivas was the last Bull standing on an all-around successful weekend for USF's women's tennis team which included six competitors in the round of 16.
Next up the Bulls head to Athens, Ga. for the USTA/ITA Regional.
