Rudd led the Bulls with 12.3 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game last season and he’s in line to pass the 1,000-point mark as a Bull in 2013-14. The Los Angeles native has 702 points at USF and needs 507 to pass Augustus Gilchrist on USF’s top-10 list.
Collins heads into the season ranked 10th on USF’s all-time assists list with 355 and the Houston native needs 125 more to break into the top five. Collins ranked fourth in school history with 194 assists last season after grabbing the eighth spot in USF’s single-season record book with 161 as a freshman in 2011-12.
"We're adjusting to our personnel. I have one of the fastest guards in the league, and our style will fit that,” head coach Stan Heath said at conference media day Wednesday in Memphis, Tenn.
The Bulls were picked eighth in the AAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll and will host league favorite Louisville on Jan. 22 at the Sun Dome. UConn, picked second in the poll, makes a trip to Tampa on Feb. 26 and the Bulls will open the conference season at home against Memphis, ranked third in the poll, on Dec. 31. The Bulls will host Barry University in an exhibition game on Monday, Nov. 4 before opening the season at the Sun Dome against Tennessee Tech on Saturday, Nov. 9. Reserve your season tickets HERE.
