HARTFORD, CONN. (Jan. 25, 2014) – The Bulls will face a tough road test Sunday, taking on the top-ranked UConn Huskies Sunday at noon on CBS Sports Network. USF is coming off a strong showing against Cincinnati, shooting 60 percent in the second half to win its 5th game in six tries.
UConn has lived up to its billing so far this season, knocking off powerhouses in Stanford and Duke during the non-conference season, and breezing through the first seven games of the American Athletic Conference season. The Bulls enter Hartford with an opportunity to end the Huskies' streak and add a quality win to the postseason resume.
Connecticut is 12-0 in the lifetime series against the Bulls.
» USF opponents are shooting .357 from the field this season - the lowest in Bulls'' history
» USF is 16-2 in McDonald's career when the senior has eight or more rebounds (6-0 last year, 5-1 this year)
» USF is 4-0 in conference play when Inga Orekhova scores 10+ points
