On Sunday against Miami, Cid moved up to the number one slot in singles, defeating Gabriel Flores 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.

In doubles, Cid teamed up with Sasha Gozun to go 2-0 from the second doubles position. Against Texas Tech they defeated Felipe Soares and Johann Willems 6-4. The pair also picked up a 6-4 victory against Miami, beating Gabriel Flores and Diego Soto.

"Roberto did a good job of handling the pressure of playing ranked schools and ranked opponents this weekend," said head coach Matt Hill.  "He's made a commitment to really being consistent in training and it is translating during the matches."

Cid, a sophomore from the Dominican Republic, is a perfect 5-0 in dual match play in singles and 7-1 going back to individual play. In doubles, CId and Gozun are 5-0.

The Bulls have this week off, but will be back in action Feb. 21 against San Diego and Feb. 22 against South Carolina. Both matches will be contested on South Carolina's home courts in Columbia, S.C.
