Morillo Commits to USF Menís Basketball

TAMPA, May 2, 2014 – Head coach Orlando Antigua announced the signing of Nehemias Morillo to a national letter of intent on Friday.

Morillo, a 6-6 shooting guard from Santiago, Dominican Republic, averaged 12.2 points and 4.0 assists last season as a sophomore while earning second team NJCAA All-Region 15 honors and team co-MVP for Monroe College located in The Bronx, N.Y. He averaged 6.0 points and 3.0 assists as a freshman 

“Nehemias is a really long versatile wing that can play multiple positions,” Antigua said. “He’s a skilled, aggressive and athletic guard. We are extremely excited to have him join our family.”

Morillo joins Troy Holston and Dinero Mercurius as incoming student-athletes for this fall.
