TAMPA, MARCH 20, 2017 – Take a look ahead at the week in USF Athletics and catch up on last week’s action:

No. 19 Football

This Week: Following spring break, USF resumes its spring schedule with practice Tuesday morning at the Morsani Complex…  USF’s spring game is set for Saturday, April 15 at Corbett Stadium, the on-campus soccer home of the Bulls. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. and admission is free. Learn about the fun activities surrounding the spring game HERE.

Need to Know: The priority ticket renewal period for all Bulls Club members runs through Friday, March 31. New season ticket sales for all fans will begin on Saturday, April 8. Deposits will be accepted prior to April 8. Flex plan packages and group ticket sales will begin on Monday, May 15. Baseball (19-1)

This Week: Red-hot USF looks to extend its winning streak to 19 games when it hosts North Florida on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. … The Bulls head to Fort Myers to take on No. 15 Florida Gulf Coast University 6:30 p.m. Wednesday before a three-game weekend home series against Florida A&M. Games on Friday and Saturday have 6:30 p.m. starts at USF Baseball Stadium. Sunday’s series finale is set for 2 p.m. Reserve your seats at USFBullsTix.com.

Last Week: USF swept Harvard in a four-game home series that began with an 8-2 victory on March 17… The Bulls registered 4-1 and 8-6 wins in the doubleheader on March 18…. USF took an 8-0 lead into the fourth inning and secured the series sweep with a 14-2 victory on March 19.

Need to Know: USF’s 18-game winning streak is the second-longest in program history and the second-longest active streak in the nation, behind Missouri and Louisville… Head coach Mark Kingston’s squad is ranked No. 21 in Perfect Game Baseball’s college top 25 this week… USF moved up to No. 24 in this week’s College Baseball Central Top 25.

Softball (20-14)

This Week: USF travels to Gainesville for another showdown with No. 2 Florida on Wednesday at 6 p.m. … The Bulls open conference play with a three-game home series against Tulsa that begins 4 p.m. Friday at USF Softball Stadium. Saturday’s game is set for 4 p.m. and Sunday’s series finale begins at 11:30 a.m. Reserve your seats at USFBullsTix.com.

Last Week: USF posted a 9-6 win over Jacksonville and a 4-3 victory over Yale in a doubleheader sweep at home on March 15… USF’s four-game winning streak ended with a 4-0 loss to No. 4 Auburn in the Bulls’ opening game of the Michele Smith-Clearwater Parks and Rec Spring Tournament on March 17. That same day, USF bounced back with a 7-0 victory over North Dakota State… USF fell to Missouri, 13-4, on March 18 and finished the doubleheader with a 7-3 loss to Illinois in eight innings… USF got back on track with a 4-3 win over FAMU on March 19.

No. 25 Women’s Basketball (24-9)

Last Week: Clutch Kitija Laksa hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 3.3 seconds left in regulation before USF’s impressive 2016-17 season ended in heartbreaking fashion with a 66-64 loss to sixth-seeded Missouri in the opening round of the NCAA tournament in Tallahassee on March 17.

Need to Know:  USF made its fifth NCAA tournament appearance in school history. This was the Bulls’ fourth NCAA tournament trip in the past five years and third in a row.

Men’s Basketball

This Week: New head coach Brian Gregory’s introductory press conference is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sun Dome Arena Club. The event is open to the public and fans can park in Lot 6, between the Sun Dome and the Selmon Athletics Center. Learn more HERE.

Last Week: Director of Athletics Mark Harlan announced the appointment of Brian Gregory as the 10th head coach of the USF men’s basketball program. Learn more about Gregory HERE.

Men’s Tennis (10-6)

Next Match: USF returns to campus to host Tulane on Thursday, March 30 at 1 p.m. Admission is free at the USF Varsity Courts.

Last Week: USF rolled to a 4-0 victory over Tulsa on March 18 in its final match at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif. … The Bulls fell to No. 7 USC, 4-0, on March 17.

Women’s Tennis (8-7)

This Week: USF finishes off its home slate with tests against FIU on Friday and Temple on Sunday. Both matches are set for noon starts and admission is free at the USF Varsity Courts.

Last Week: USF cruised to a 7-0 win over Liberty on March 14 before a 4-2 setback against Tulsa on March 16… The Bulls bounced back with a 4-0 sweep of UAB on March 18.

Track and Field

This Week: USF continues its outdoor season at the Miami Invitational on Saturday.

Last Week: USF completed the 2017 Bulls Invitational with two event wins and five top-10 program marks on March 18. Check out the recap HERE.

Men’s Golf

This Week: USF continues its run at the Valspar Collegiate Championship Monday and Tuesday at The Floridian in Palm City, Fla. Get live scoring HERE.

Last Week: Senior Rigel Fernandes fired an even-par 71 to finish the first round of the Valspar Collegiate within three shots of the lead on March 19. USF started the event in a tie for seventh place. Learn more HERE.

Sailing

This Week: USF heads back to Charleston, S.C., for the SAISA Women's Spring Championship on Saturday. This event will serve as a qualifier for nationals.

Last Week: USF placed 13th and just two points away from 11th at the St. Mary’s Women’s Intersectional in Maryland last weekend. Sarah Streater and Mandi Dickie finished one point away from second place in the B Division after posting a victory. Alison Knoles, Rachel Yannelli and Delaney Brown placed 16th in the A Division.
