TAMPA, MAY 17, 2017 – #BAYMADE: Inside USF Football, the University of South Florida football program's weekly television show, has once again been selected a national finalist for outstanding production by the Sports Video Group (SVG) and National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).

The show, which debuted in 2014, has now been selected a SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Awards finalist from among hundreds of national entries for the second time in three years. The 9th Annual SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Awards will be held at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta on June 1, with the winners announced on site.

“This year's College Sports Media Awards Finalists represent an ever-rising bar of excellence in the college sports production industry,” says Tom Buffolano, Chairman of the SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Awards. “The competitive pool keeps getting deeper and college productions must become more creative in the way they tell a story, whether it is a live game or profile. The proliferation of coverage of events like Signing Day showcase the growing fan interest in all things college sports.”

The awards recognize the best in college sports video production from national networks, regional networks and conference digital networks, collegiate athletic departments, and students. The CSMAs aim to celebrate those who have pushed the envelope and set a higher standard for the quality of live and pre-/post-produced college sports video content.

#BAYMADE: Inside USF Football, which aired 13 episodes during the Bulls' program record 11-win 2016 season and a Spring Special in May, has been nominated for Outstanding Program Series in the Regional/Local/Networks and Production Companies category. The USF show has been nominated alongside standout productions from BYUtv (After Further Review), FOX Sports South (Driven), 4th Floor Creative (Musketeer Moments), University of North Texas (Beyond the Green: North Texas Football 2016) and Awesome Films (Penn State Hockey Story).

The Emmy Award winning production team of Awesome Films produces #BAYMADE and had two productions earn finalist recognition in the category, also getting a nod for their efforts with the Penn State Hockey Story.

The 30-minute program takes fans up-close inside the USF program with NFL Films style camera work, exceptional storytelling, and unprecedented access to practice, locker room, game day and daily life. Compelling video, narration and sound from the Bulls themselves will give viewers a taste of what it is like to be in the huddle and on the field with the Bulls.

Every episode is also posted to the USF Athletics Youtube channel.
