MARTOS, Spain (June 13, 2017) –The USF men's tennis team is hard at work this summer as Justin Roberts and Alberto Barroso-Campos posted first-round wins at the F17 ITF Futures event in Martos, Spain while their former teammate Sasha Gozun recently qualified for the main draw of the F18 ITF Futures event in Buffalo, N.Y.

In Spain, Roberts and Barroso-Campos qualified for the main draw and will advance to the second round. Barroso-Campos came into the tournament unseeded, and defeated No. 7 seed and No. 580 in the world, Eric Crepaldi from Italy in one of the best performances of his career.

Grayson Goldin and Alberto Barroso-Campos joined forces and have qualified for the doubles main draw later this evening.

"I'm really excited for Justin and Alberto to get some quality wins in Spain which is a great start for their summer schedule,” said head coach Ashley Fisher. “I know how hard they are working over there along with Grayson, and it's nice to see it paying off."

On the other side of the world, recent graduate Sasha Gozun is competing at the F18 ITF Futures event in Buffalo, N.Y, where he will face Hunter Callahan in the main draw.
