The Picture of the Day will be added to the daily USF News Wire as well as archived in weekly photo albums on GoUSFBulls.com.
“I think alumni and fans alike will be very entertained by this daily glimpse into USF history,” said Associate Director of Athletics Vicki Mitchell. “It is also an opportunity for outreach and interaction with our fan base and the Varsity Club. If you attended one of these games or have a unique perspective behind a specific picture, we would love to hear from you. We have made the process of submitting comments and captions very easy and user friendly. Hopefully this creates a great amount of conversation among the USF Athletics community.”
As part of the ongoing project to identify thousands of historic images in the USF Athletics database, each Saturday the Photo of the Day will be a picture we need help identifying.
Fans and alumni are encouraged to submit any information about the photo or athletes depicted to help improve the historical perspective of this archive.
Additionally fans will have the opportunity to submit their own captions on each Picture of the Day. We’ll post the best and most news-worthy captions on GoUSFBulls.com.
The Picture of the Day feature will also give fans a chance to own a piece of USF Athletics history, as all photos will be available for purchase in the GoUSFBulls.com Photo Store.
