Train With Coach Leavitt & The St. Pete Bowl ChampionsTAMPA – GoUSFBulls.com is proud to announce the final plans for the 2009 Jim Leavitt Junior Bullls Summer Football Camp.

The camp will take place June 8-11 on campus at the University of South Florida.

The Jim Leavitt Junior Bulls Camp is open to children in grades 1-5 and will run from 5:45 – 9 p.m. on June 8-11.  Camps registration is just $100 for four days of instruction!!

Campers will learn:

  • To have FUN!!!
  • The basics of every offensive position
  • The basics of every defensive position
  • To respect the game, teammates and opponents
  • The basic rules of football
  • How to take care of their bodies for peak performance

All Campers Receive:

  • Camp T-Shirt
  • In-depth instruction from USF Coaching Staff
  • Guest appearances and instruction by USF players
  • Special talk with head coach Jim Leavitt
  • Games and contests

Things to Bring:

  • Practice gear: t-shirt, shorts, socks, cleats or sneakers
  • Personal water bottle
  • Mouthpiece (mouthpieces will also be sold for $2)

Daily Agenda:

  • 5:45 p.m. – Check in
  •  6:05 p.m. – Roll call
  • 6:10 p.m. – Dynamic stretch and warm-up
  • 6:20 p.m. – Offensive position specific drills
  • 7:20 p.m. – Break
  • 7:25 p.m. – Guest speaker
  • 7:35 p.m. – Defensive position specific drills
  • 8:35 p.m. – Group drills/obstacle course
  • 9 p.m. – End of day

*Athletic trainers and water will be available at each and every drill.  We encourage your children to hydrate properly throughout the camp.
