After a scoreless first, the Bulls would strike first in the second. Todd Brazeal, who lead off the inning with a double to right, came around to score on a sacrifice fly by Alex Mendez.
The lead would be short lived as Stetson answered with a run of their own in the bottom half of the frame to even the contest.
Tied at one, Stetson would break the game open with a seven-run fourth inning on eight hits including back-to-back home runs by Mark Jones and Nick Rickles.
The Jones' homer would chase Bulls starter Nick Gonzalez from the contest after just 3.2 innings. Gonzalez allowed seven runs, scattering 10 hits and eventually take the loss to fall to 2-3 on the season.
It would be a much different story for his counter-part from Stetson. Hatter starter Will Dorsey allowed just one run on eight hits over 9.0 innings en route to his fifth win of the season.
Offensively, Jonathan Koscso continued his hot hand at the plate collecting three of the Bulls eight hits on the night. He now has six hits in his last seven at-bats and has reached base eight times in his last two games.
The Hatters tacked on their ninth and final run of the night in the eighth to complete the scoring
