2013: Pitched 29.2 innings over 25 reliefe appearances in his senior campiagn earning his first career win on April 6 when he closed out the Bulls' 7-6 win over Pittsburgh..Ten days later he would earn win number two after pitching to final 2.2 innings of the Bulls 13-inning 6-2 win at Stetson..during USF's 19-inning marathon 8-2 win over Notre Dame Puig struckout 3 while allowing just 1 hit over 3.0 shutout innings in relief...he last appeared for the Bulls in their 8-7 loss to UConn.


2012: Pitched a team-high 21 relief innings during his junior season, striking out the third highest batters among the bullpen...Pitched a season-high 2 and two-thirds innings during the Bulls loss to Jacksonville on March 7th...Put together two shutout frames for the Bulls during March 23rd's meeting with Georgetown to help lift his team to a 6-0 win...Added another two-inning shutout to his resume during USF's April 5th game with Cincinnati, the junior only allowed one hit, striking out two batters...The junior's last outing came during the 2012 BIG EAST Baseball Championships, pitching one and thirds innings during the Bulls first ever trip to the finals.

2011: Made six appearances for the Bulls, pitching a total of 7.1 innings...All six appearances came in relief...Didn't have a win or loss on the season...Allowed nine hits and three runs, three of them earned with five strikeouts...Pitched a season-high 2.1 innings against Elon (2/27)...Allowed only one hit, zero runs and struck out two batters in that matchup.

2010:
Made six appearances for the Bulls, all as a relief pitcher....Recorded an ERA of 6.97 over 10.1 innings pitched in which he recorded five strikeouts along the way....Made two BIG EAST appearances against Rutgers (4/18) and Villanova (4/15) as a relief pitcher, combining for 3.4 innings pitched and giving up three earned runs....Longest outing of the year was in relief against Miami (4/28) ... Pitched 3.0 innings, giving up two hits, two earned runs, and striking out one batter in a no-decision result against the Hurricanes.

High School:
Named team captain senior year and finished with an 8-2 record and a 1.61 ERA  ...  Led team to state playoffs his junior year while going 4-0 with a 1.90 ERA  ...  All-Dade County sophomore through senior seasons  ...  Played freshman year under current USF pitching coach Lazer Collazo  ...  Coached by Jorge Perez for the remainder of high school career.
