USF's game at North Florida on Tuesday afternoon has been canceled because of severe thunderstorms in Jacksonville.
The Bulls wrap up their regular season with a crucial three-game series at West Virginia Thursday through Saturday in Morgantown. USF (33-18, 16-8) is tied with Louisville for second place in the Big East standings and trails first-place St. John's by a game.
The Bulls are on a three-game winning streak after sweeping UConn last weekend in Tampa. Right-hander Derrick Stultz made the Big East weekly honor roll after throwing six shutout innings in Saturday's 3-0 victory. A five-run first inning boosted the Bulls to an 8-3 victory in the series finale on Sunday. USF finished its 2012 homestand with a 22-13 record.
USF will begin its run at the Big East Championship on Wednesday, May 23 at Bright House Field in Clearwater.
