CLEARWATER - The Bulls were producing at the plate when lightning delayed their meeting with Pitt in the top of the third inning Thursday afternoon at Bright House Field.
USF already scored five runs with no outs in the inning when play was put on hold because of lightning at 6:01 p.m. The Bulls currently lead the Panthers, 6-0, in their second game of the Big East Championship and will be back up to bat when play resumes at 9:40 p.m.
