USF Senior Writer
TAMPA - Jasmine Wynne is having a senior season to remember.
The USF women's basketball team's leading scorer is averaging 16 points per game, which has her in sixth place among all the Big East's wealth of game-changers. The 5-foot-7 guard also leads USF in rebounding (5.7 per game) and is tops in the conference with 2.9 steals per contest.
Wynne enters Sunday's road game at No. 3 UConn with a 17-game streak of scoring in double figures. The Jacksonville native poured in a game-high 19 points with 14 coming in the second half of a 57-45 win over Seton Hall on Wednesday at the USF Recreation Center.
"In the second half I think she let the game come to her a little bit," head coach Jose Fernandez said.
