By TOM ZEBOLD USF Senior Writer Sharla Passariello kept her groove going on offense, but the USF women's soccer team came up on the short end of a 2-1 loss to Georgia on Friday at the UCF Tournament. The Bulls (2-2) saw their two-game winning streak come to an end after Georgia's Bella Hartley scored the go-ahead goal in the 47th minute to help the Bulldogs improve to 4-1. Susannah Dennis gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute, but USF struck back shortly before the halftime break. Passariello now has four goals in four games after putting one past keeper Ashley Baker off a crossing pass from Taylor Patterson in the 40th minute of play. USF freshman keeper Christiane Endler was quite busy, recording five saves while watching the Bulldogs rack up 17 shots (seven on goal). Georgia's Baker also was tested often and made seven saves on 14 shots. Passariello posted half of USF's eight shots on goal. The Bulls finish up at the UCF Tournament at noon on Sunday, when they face Dartmouth at the UCF Soccer Complex in Orlando.
