TAMPA - The Bulls' first-ever Big East Championship victory is already earning them some national attention.
The USF women's golf team is featured by Golfweek's Jackie Strouse, who highlight's head coach Marci Kornegay's ability to bring in the talent needed to win Tuesday's conference title in Orlando.
"When you get players who've had experience elsewhere, they know that now this is their 'one more shot' to prove themselves," Kornegay told Strouse. "Getting them on the same page has not been for lack of effort. But we laid out a clear vision and values, and they've all bought in."
Next up for the Bulls is a trip to NCAA Regionals and a chance to get the program to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 1991.
