Bulls in the NFL: Nicholas Keeps Producing

TAMPA - Stephen Nicholas' name continues to be called by NFL commentators at a consistent pace.

The Bulls' former star linebacker shined again for the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3 of the NFL season when he posted seven tackles in a 27-3 win over the San Diego Chargers.

The sixth-year pro currently ranks 15th in the NFL with 27 tackles and has been an all-around defensive weapon for the Falcons with an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Here is an update on what other former Bulls did in Week 3 of the NFL season:

Jason Pierre-Paul, N.Y. Giants, DE: USF's former All-American posted three tackles and a half sack in a 36-7 victory over Carolina. Season stats - 1.5 sacks, 15 tackles, two pass breakups.

Jacquian Williams, N.Y. Giants, LB: The second-year pro had two tackles in the Giants' win over the Panthers. Season stats - 11 tackles.

Nate Allen, Philadelphia, S: The second-round pick in the 2010 draft had four tackles in a 27-6 loss to Arizona. Season stats - 19 tackles, one pass breakup.

Mike Jenkins, Dallas, CB: The fifth-year pro recorded the first tackle and the first pass breakup of his season in a 16-10 victory over Tampa Bay.

Tyrone McKenzie, Minnesota, LB: The second-year pro played, but did not record a tackle in a 24-14 win over San Francisco. Season stats - two tackles.

Mistral Raymond, Minnesota, S: The second-year pro left Sunday's game against the 49ers with an ankle injury. He could be out for several weeks. Season stats - five tackles, one pass breakup.

Jerome Murphy, Detroit, CB: Recently signed with the Lions.
