Bulls Conclude Fall Tournament Action

TAMPA (Nov. 6, 2016)-- The USF women's tennis team wrapped up the fall season as the Dick Vitale Invitational and Seminole Showdown concluded.

In Tallahassee, Nicole Dzenga picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win over Oklahoma's Byrne to win the consolation side of her flight. Vera Bessonova also competed in the consolation finals in her respective flight, but dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision to Wisconsin's Avgerinos. 

In Bradenton, Olga Martinez competed in the consolation finals of the singles bracket, falling to East Tennesee State's Ioanna Markesini in a very tight 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) match. 

This will be the last weekend of fall tennis for the Bulls, but stay tuned as they kick of their spring slate in January. Take a look at their spring schedule HERE.
