USF Basketball Show Returns on Monday at 7 p.m.

TAMPA, JAN. 8, 2017  The USF men’s basketball’s weekly radio show, the USF Basketball Show, begins the 2017 slate on Monday night at 7 p.m. Fans can watch the show live at World of Beer on Fowler Ave.

The USF Basketball Show, which airs 12 times throughout the season, features interim head coach Murry Bartow with host Jim Lighthall. All 12 shows will air on AM 820 in the Tampa area and online at as well as the Tune-In Radio app.

All fans are invited to come out and meet Coach Bartow and take advantage of food and beverage specials. Any questions for coach may be submitted through Twitter by sending them to @USFMBB.

About USF Men’s Basketball

The USF men’s basketball team is led by interim head coach Murry Bartow. Coach Bartow has served as a collegiate basketball coach for 30 seasons and boasts eight postseason tournaments, including four NCAA Tournaments.

The Bulls feature freshman Tulio Da Silva, junior Ruben Guerrero, sophomore Troy Holston and junior Geno Thorpe.

USF has retired three numbers in its 46-year history: Chucky Atkins (12), Charlie Bradley (30) and Radenko Dobras (31). The Bulls have earned three NCAA tournament bids and appeared in the NIT eight times. In the 2011-12 season, USF was one win away from an appearance in the Sweet 16.
