TAMPA - USF's opening week of basketball starts with a special event.
USF's Tip-Off Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Marriott Waterside in Tampa. The event begins with a reception hosted by NorthStar Bank at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is set for 7 p.m. with basketball analyst Bill Raftery emceeing the event.
Tickets are $65 per person, a table of 10 is $650 and a patron table is $1,500. A patron table consists of eight tickets for attendees that will be seated with one men's and one women's basketball student-athlete. The USF women's team has the honor of playing the first regular-season game at the brand new Sun Dome when it takes on Stetson at 2 p.m. on Nov. 10. The USF men's team also plays Nov. 10 against UCF at 7 p.m.
