TAMPA (April 20, 2017) – University of South Florida head softball coach Ken Eriksen has announced several dates this summer for local athletes to train with USF’s staff. All camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by age, number, grade level and/or gender.
The Jr. Bulls Camp for children 8-11 is scheduled for June 19-21. For those ages 12-18, the Bulls Camp is set for June 26-28. Both camps will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The cost is $360 per student.
All camps are run by USF softball staff and players and feature an 8:1 camper to coach ratio. The camps will take place at the USF Softball Stadium with a certified athletic trainer on hand each day. Campers will need to bring a bat, hat, glove, cleats, batting helmet and tennis shoes. Catchers must bring their own gear.

The USF softball program has been one of the most successful on campus, making 12 NCAA tournament appearances, including a trip to the Women’s College World Series in 2012. USF returns 14 players from the 2016 squad that advanced to the NCAA Tournament, including, first-team all-conference selection Lauren Evans, and second-team selections Astin Donovan and Kristen Wyckoff.
