TAMPA, FEB. 27, 2017 – Take a look ahead at the week in USF Athletics and catch up on last week’s action:
No. 19 Football
Next Week: USF will begin spring practice under new head coach Charlie Strong on Monday, March 6 at the Morsani Football Practice Complex… USF’s spring game is set for Saturday, April 15 at Corbett Stadium, the on-campus soccer home of the Bulls. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. and admission is free. Learn more HERE.
Need to Know: The priority ticket renewal period for all Bulls Club members runs through Friday, March 31. New season ticket sales for all fans will begin on Saturday, April 8. Deposits will be accepted prior to April 8. Flex plan packages and group ticket sales will begin on Monday, May 15. Women’s Basketball (22-6, 11-4)
This Week: USF will host top-ranked UConn in the regular season finale that’s set for 7 p.m. Monday at the Sun Dome. The conference showdown will be a part of ESPN2’s Big Monday coverage. Prior to the game, USF will honor four senior members of the team in a special ceremony set to begin at approximately 6:35 p.m. Reserve your seats at USFBullsTix.com… The American Athletic Conference Championship is set for Friday through Monday, March 6 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
Last Week: Kitija Laksa went 6-for-6 from long range and shot 92 percent overall – both career bests – during her 34-point performance in a 90-64 win at Tulsa on Feb. 25… Ariadna Pujol posted 24 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in a 79-50 victory at Houston on Feb. 21.
Need to Know: The Bulls have totaled at least 22 regular season wins for just the second time in program history. USF won 24 games during the 2014-15 regular season and finished with a program record of 27.

Men’s Basketball (7-20, 1-15)
This Week: USF wraps up the regular season with two home games at the Sun Dome. The Bulls will add another chapter to the War on I-4 rivalry series with UCF on Thursday at 7 p.m. USF finishes up the week with a test against Temple on Sunday at 2 p.m. Reserve your seats at USFBullsTix.com.

No. 23/25 Softball (9-5)
This Week: USF will host the Under Armour Invitational, which will take place on campus and in Clearwater this weekend. USF will play a doubleheader Friday at home against Georgia State (2 p.m.) and Syracuse (4:30 p.m.). USF will travel to the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater for Saturday’s doubleheader against Ball State (3 p.m.) and Towson (5:15 p.m.). The Bulls will head back to campus to take on Villanova on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Last Week: USF posted a 4-0 home win over Eastern Michigan on Feb. 23 before going 2-2 at the Hatter Invitational over the weekend in DeLand, Fla. … USF bounced back from an 8-0 loss to Ole Miss on Feb. 24 with a 10-0, six-inning victory over Colgate on Feb. 25… USF finished up the tournament with a 12-1 loss to Ole Miss and a 6-3 victory over Stetson on Feb. 26.

This Week: Winners of five in a row, the Bulls look to stay hot at home during a three-game series against Toledo that begins Friday at 6:30 p.m. Saturday’s game is set for 6:30 p.m. and Sunday’s series finale begins at 1 p.m.
Last Week: USF completed a four-game sweep of Miami (Ohio) with an 11-2 victory on Feb. 26… The Bulls took game 1 of a doubleheader, 7-2, on Feb. 25 and rallied for a 3-2 victory in the 18-inning sweep… Phoenix Sanders pitched seven scoreless innings in a 5-1 victory on Feb. 24… The Bulls started their week in a big way with a 4-2 upset win at No. 3 Florida State on Feb. 21.
Need to Know: At 7-1, USF has matched its best eight-game start to a season since 2014.

Men’s Tennis (3-4)
This Week: USF finishes up a four-match home stand with a test against Michigan State on Saturday at 2 p.m. Admission is free at the USF Varsity Courts.
Last Week: Down to the last two courts, USF pulled out a dramatic 4-2 home victory over Pepperdine on Feb. 26.
