TAMPA - The Bulls will be back on the golf course Monday to take part in the Sir Pizza Cards Challenge at the Weston Hills Country Club in Weston, Fla.
Play begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. and features Louisville, Cincinnati, Delaware, Memphis, UNC-Wilmington, Miami, Missouri, NC State, Texas State, FIU, Kansas, ETSU and SMU with the second round scheduled for Tuesday.
The Bulls are coming off a sixth place finish at the UCF Challenge two weeks ago that saw transfer Anna Hancock rise to a ninth among more than 70 competitors.
"Overall I'm happy with the progress we are making," head coach Marci Kornegay said.
Hancock, a Lakeland native, fired six birdies on the final day of play and posted her highest finish as a Bull in the team's first spring event.
"I'm so proud of the way she carried herself and stayed confident, relaxed and comfortable going low," Kornegay said.
