TAMPA - The University of South Florida will hold a Ribbon
Cutting Ceremony for the new Sun Dome on Tuesday, May 1 at 4 p.m. Under
construction since June of 2011, the ceremony will serve as the official
re-opening of one of Tampa Bay's finest facilities. The Ribbon Cutting will
take place on the Gate A plaza (southwest corner) and parking is available in
After having the opportunity to hear from key members of the
USF community, guests will be welcome to get their first glimpse of the
fantastic upgrades inside the new Sun Dome. Key members of the USF community
and Global Spectrum, the Sun Dome's new management company, will be positioned
throughout the building to help answer any questions.
The Ribbon Cutting ceremony is expected to last approximately
30 minutes, leaving about one hour for guests to tour the building.
