Bulls Asst. Coach Chris Brown
Meet Chris Brown
From day one Buls head coach Denise Schilte-Brown has stressed that when a player comes to USF, along with becoming part of the USF family, that player becomes part of Schilte-Brown’s family as well. No further explanation of that is needed after Schilte-Brown points to assistant coach Chris Brown, who is Schilte-Brown's husband.

The husband and wife combination creates a situation that makes the University of South Florida women's soccer program very unique. The duo has been successful at their previous two stops at UMBC and VCU and ammasesd an overall record of 105-87-23.

With players being away from their families and coming across all of North America, the couple has created a close nit family atmosphere that helps the players flourish in their new surroundings.

Brown's collegiate coaching career began as an assistant with the University of Tampa men's team in 1997. He then joined Schilte during her two-year stint as head coach at Maryland-Baltimore County before the pair arrived at VCU.

Brown's soccer resume is outstanding, both as a coach and player. He played at both UNC Charlotte and American University before graduating with honors from the latter in 1994 and then playing professionally for 11 seasons.
