Mallori Lofton-Malachi
It is no secret that Denise Schilte-Brown has quite a game changer in goal for her USF women’s soccer .

Deemed by U.S. National Coach Bill Irwin, “one of the most athletic goalkeepers in America” senior goalkeeper Mallori Lofton-Malachi has been a rock in goal for the Bulls the past two seasons.

Standing six feet tall, Lofton-Malachi harbors a rare combination of size, power and athleticism. So it is no surprise that she is a record breaker on and off the field.

In 2008, Lofton-Malachi just about every USF goalkeeping record while playing every second of every match and is on pace to shatter every career record. Despite being peppered in goal, she only allowed 17 goals in 18 matches for an impressive 0.81 GAA

Before she left to train with the US National team this past spring, Lofton-Malachi set team high marks for the 40 yard dash, vertical jump and the broad jump and has improved.

The 2008 W-League goal keeper of the year has picked up right where she left as an impenetrable wall for the Tampa Bay Hellenic and will likely do the same in her senior campaign.

Lofton-Malachi enters her senior year as one of the premier goalkeepers in the country. She either holds, or is on pace to break all of USF keeper records. She set single season record for saves in a season (117) and shutouts in a season (7) in 2008.
