USF Senior Writer
COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn., OCT. 10, 2017 – USF men's golf saved its best team performance for last at the FAMC Intercollegiate at The Grove.
Head coach
Steve Bradley's Bulls carded a 1-under 287 in Tuesday's final round and moved up two spots to a tie for sixth place among 12 programs.
Cristian DiMarco and
Kyle Flexsenhar both went 2-under to help USF post its top score of the tournament that was a 23-shot improvement from the Bulls' opening round.

DiMarco's 2-under 70 included four birdies during his 3-under run on the back nine. The solid final round helped the senior from Longwood, Fla., jump up 12 spots to a tie for 13
th place at 3-over.
After firing a 4-under 68 in the second round,
Jimmy Jones led the lineup with a 12
th-place finish at 2-over. The senior from Tampa was 2-under through 11 holes of the final round and finished just three shots outside the top 10.
Flexsenhar moved up 17 spots to 33
rd place thanks to his 2-under 70 that featured four birdies. The sophomore from Lake Mary, Fla., shot par or better on 16 holes in the final round.
Georgia Tech (-12) captured the team title and was followed in the top five by Ole Miss (-4), Middle Tennessee State (+10), Kennesaw State (+10) and Liberty (+17).

Notables
- USF tied for the fourth-most birdies with 45. Jimmy Jones led the lineup with 12.
- USF has finished in the top six in each of its first three tournaments of the fall. The Bulls started the fall with a 13-shot victory at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate in Choudrant, La., on Sept. 19.
