TAMPA, OCT. 16, 2017 – Take a look ahead at the week in USF Athletics and catch up on last week's action:
No. 16/13 Football (6-0, 3-0)
This Week: USF will take on Tulane in New Orleans on Saturday at 7 p.m. (EST). The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
Last Week: USF posted its third straight 30-plus point win with a
33-3 homecoming victory over Cincinnati on Oct. 14. The Bulls extended their streak of 30-plus point games to 23, matching the AP Poll era record (since 1936) set by Oregon from 2011-12. At 6-0, USF also equaled the best start in program history by getting key contributions in all three phases of the game.
Need to Know: USF reached its highest national ranking since 2008, checking in at No. 13 in the Amway Coaches Poll and No. 16 in the AP Top 25 Poll. Learn more

No. 19 Women's Basketball
This Week: Kitija Laksa, Maria Jespersen and Laia Flores traveled with head coach
Jose Fernandez to Philadelphia for the American Athletic Conference Basketball Tipoff on Monday. The live stream of the event begins at 11:10 a.m. and can be accessed
HERE… USF was picked to finish second in the conference, while Laksa was a first-team preseason all-conference pick. Jespersen landed a spot on the preseason all-conference second team.

About USF Athletics
USF Athletics sponsors 19 varsity men's and women's teams that compete in 11 different sports, 18 at the NCAA Division I level in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls' athletic program celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015, having begun with a men's soccer contest in 1965. Nearly 500 student-athletes train and compete in the athletic district located on the east end of the campus in Tampa, Fla. The Bulls have claimed 12 American Athletic Conference team titles since joining the conference in 2013, including four in 2016-17, and own 109 conference championships overall. Ten USF programs reached national post-season competition in the 2016-17 season and nine were ranked in the Top 25 nationally. The Bulls posted a program-record 86 percent Graduation Success Rate (2016) in the last reporting, logged an annual department grade-point average over a 3.0 for the second straight year and saw 106 student-athletes earn their degree during the 2016-17 academic period.
